The machine runs on AMD's Strix Halo platform, powered by the Ryzen AI Max+ 388 processor with integrated Radeon 8060S graphics. The key to that VRAM figure is unified memory architecture. Rather than a fixed pool of dedicated graphics memory, the system allows flexible allocation from the main memory pool. With the top 128GB LPDDR5X-8000 configuration, up to 96GB of that can be pointed directly at the Radeon 8060S. For a laptop handling 3D rendering, video production, or local AI model work, that is a meaningful advantage over systems where GPU memory is hard-capped at a lower ceiling.
The display matches the ambition of the internals. Lenovo fitted a 15-inch OLED panel with a 2560 by 1600 resolution running at 165Hz. HDR peak brightness reaches 1100 nits, which is high enough to make a real difference when grading footage or working with high-contrast content. Color accuracy and brightness at this level on a portable machine historically required compromises elsewhere, but Lenovo appears to have kept the rest of the spec sheet competitive.

AMD's Strix Halo platform pulls serious power under load, and the thermal design needs to keep up to prevent the processor from pulling back its performance. Battery capacity sits at 84Wh, which is a reasonable size for a machine in this class. Charging comes via 140W USB Type-C, so topping up from low battery does not require hours of waiting. Storage is covered by dual SSD slots, giving users the option to expand beyond the base configuration without opening up a complex disassembly process.
The Yoga Pro 7 15ASH11 is aimed squarely at mobile workstation users and creative professionals who need serious GPU headroom without moving to a desktop. Pricing has not been confirmed across all regions yet, but the global launch is live and configurations are available through Lenovo's channels.
